From April 16-18, 2010 your Webmaster participated in the "Author's Corner" program at the Florida Air Museum, Lakeland, FL. The program was held concurrently with the Sun 'n Fun fly-in. The purpose of the event was to offer autographed books by aviation authors to participants and visitors at the fly-in.
Below is an image of your Webmaster's autographing and sales table. For sale and for signing were the four books listed in the left sidebar. A fifth book, with the working title "The Congress of Ghosts," is in preparation with a target date of October, 2010.

Of special note was a visit and presentation at the Museum by Jeff Skiles, co-pilot of US Airways Flight 1549 when it made a controlled forced landing in the Hudson River in New York on January 15, 2009. The cause was multiple bird strikes which caused failure of both engines. Below, Jeff (R) and your Webmaster. Jeff holds his signed copy of the Davis-Monthan Airfield Register. As you might imagine, he was grateful to our aviation heritage as embodied in the Register, which delivered him safely to the River that Friday. He was a pleasure to speak with.
