Thanks to the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) for taking the time to record, edit and make available the following interview featuring www.dmairfield.org, the people and aircraft of the Davis-Monthan Airfield Register, and your Webmaster. Thanks to EAA videographer and interviewer Mel Smith for his expert job of managing the interview, and to Zachary Baughman for editing everything down to 20 minutes and change.
This interview was recorded at Lakeland, FL in April, 2008. It took place in the Sun 'n' Fun Museum of Flight outdoor pavillion, so you'll see me occasionally swatting mosquitos. The airshow portion of the Sun 'n' Fun program was also in full-swing, so you will hear airplane noise in the background.
The bibliographic information for the books (see the left sidebar) and articles cited during the interview are listed on theREFERENCES page.
The articles cited are downloadable at the following links (each will open in a new window):
Female Pilot Article (published in Sport Aviation, an EAA publication), Standard Airlines Economic Analysis, New Photograph & Document Collections.
Direct links to the people cited are: Bobbi Trout, Bob Buck, John Miller, William T. Piper, Jr., Art Goebel.
You can go directly to the EAA Web site, Timeless Voices Program, to see and hear the other interviews there.
