VOUGHT O2U-1 CORSAIR A-7829

This Navy observation airplane landed once at Tucson, Tuesday, September 22, 1931 at 12:40PM. It was flown by Lt. Cdr. L.C. Stevens who carried one passenger, J.E. Ohlsen. They were eastbound from San Diego, CA to El Paso, TX. They did not write a departure date or time, and left no remarks in the Register that would hint at the reason for their flight.

Below, from the The Benton Remmers "Lucky" Baldwin Photograph and Document Collection, is a photograph of the airplane from one of Baldwin's photo albums.

A-7829 was one of 35 O2U-1s ordered by the Navy (A-7796 through A-7831). I need information about the airplane and pilot Stevens. If you have some to share, please let me KNOW.
