This book describes and illustrates with black & white photographs the majority of military aircraft that landed at the Davis-Monthan Airfield between 1925 and 1936. The book includes biographies of some of the pilots who flew the aircraft to Tucson as well as extensive listings of all the pilots and airplanes. STINSON AIRCRAFT

OF THE DAVIS-MONTHAN AIRFIELD REGISTER

INCOMPLETE

There were 137 landings (134 by civilian; 3 by military pilots) by Stinson aircraft at Tucson during the period of the Register, 1925-1936.

For access to the half-dozen or so Stinson models that landed at Tucson, go to this AIRPLANES button at the upper right and choose to search the database "by plane type and model". Then choose "Stinson" from the drop down menu.

Stinson aircraft take their name from Register pilot Eddie Stinson.
