Cleve Moore arrived as a passenger on Saturday, August 11, 1934 in the Bach 3-CT-5 Air Yacht NR7092. His pilot was George Farnham. His fellow passengers were Buddy Woodside, Mrs. Liddle and Mrs. Shields. Based at Glendale, CA, they were eastbound from Los Angeles to Brownsville, TX. Pilot Farnham noted in the Remarks column of the Register, "Hungry pilots, sick passengers."
According to site visitor Steve Nagle, Cleve Moore was a graduate of the University of Santa Clara and the younger brother of film star Colleen Moore. Cleve Moore (born Morrison) appeared in no less than four of his sister's films, including the highly popular "Lilac Time" (1928), in which he was the young flight commander. Playing mostly in bit parts elsewhere, Moore retired at the advent of sound.
His film highlights include include: "Footlights and Fools" (1929), "Press Agent." In "Lilac Time" (1928), he played Captain Russell (flight commander). This film featured Gary Cooper and Colleen Moore. He also starred in "Her Summer Hero" (1928), "The Stolen Bride" (1927),"The Prince of Headwaiters" (1927), "Too Many Crooks" (1927), "It Must Be Love" (1926) and "Cause for Divorce" (1923).
Moore was born June 10, 1904 and died January 25, 1954. I have no further information or photos of Moore. If you do, and would like to share, please use the link at the top of the right sidebar.
