INCOMPLETE
This airplane was constructed in 1930 and carried S/N 58. It originally sold to J. H. Lapham of San Antonio, TX. Mr. Pitcairn (cited, right sidebar) states, "I have reason to believe this aircraft was also the 1930 Detroit Show plane which means it was Forest Green fuselage and vertical surfaces with Cream wings and horizontal tail and a Cream stripe from the tail, under the cockpit, curving down just behind the cowling and then back to the tail along the bottom edge of the fuselage."
NC843N landed at Tucson Monday March 21, 1932. It was flown by owner J.H. Lapham. He carried his wife as sole passenger. They were eastbound from Yuma, AZ to El Paso, TX. No reason was given for their flight.
