BOEING P-12B, 29-333

This sturdy airplane landed at Tucson Wednesday, April 6, 1932. It was flown by Lt. D.A. Anderson. Based at San Antonio, TX Kelly Field, Anderson was eastbound from Riverside, CA, March Field to El Paso, TX. No reason was given in the Register for his flight.

However, it appears that Anderson was in a flight of three with other P-12s over the same route. He and fellow Army pilots Capt. T.J. Voss (in 29-339) and Capt. J.N. Eller (in 30-031) all landed noonish at Tucson and departed the same day. Their apparent route, from the Register notations by the other two pilots, was Riverside to Yuma, AZ to Tucson to El Paso, TX.

Below, a brand new Boeing P-12-B in U.S. Army markings as flown by pilot Anderson. Compare this image with sister ship 29-334.

According to Joe Baugher's site, Boeing 29-329 to 341 were Boeing P-12Bs, c/n 1170 to 1182. 29-329 was converted to XP-12G and later reverted to B configuration. I have no further information regarding 29-333. Does anyone KNOW its fate?
